Information Services Department takes part in Hong Kong Book Fair 2016 (with photos)

     The Information Services Department (ISD) is taking part in this year's Hong Kong Book Fair, to be held from today (July 20) to July 26 under the theme "A Pocketful of Knowledge".
 
     Around 100 government titles, CDs, VCDs and DVDs will be on sale at the fair, with 44 being sold at a 25 per cent discount including the newly published yearbook "Hong Kong 2015" and the Chinese version of "Flora of Hong Kong Volume 1".
 
     A number of specially priced books will also be on sale this year including a "Chinese Recipes" series, "Tide Tables for Hong Kong 2016" and "50 Years of Dedicated Information Services", with discounts ranging from 50 to 85 per cent.
 
     Customers buying publications at the ISD booth will receive an A5 folder souvenir and may pay for items in cash or with an Octopus card.
 
     To help save the environment, plastic bags will not be handed out at the booth. Purchasers are asked to bring their own carry bag.
 
     The ISD booth is located at Stall E37 in Hall 1A of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Wan Chai.
