Fatal traffic accident in Pat Heung

About 3.20pm, a 37-year-old man was travelling on a motorcycle along Route Twisk towards Tsuen Wan. While reaching near Shek Kong Village, the motorcycle reportedly dashed to the opposite lane and collided with another motorcycle driven by a 23-year-old man. It then bounced back and collided with a private car travelling towards Tsuen Wan.
Another motorcycle driven by the 50-year-old man towards Kam Tin reportedly lost control and side turned.
Sustaining serious injuries to his neck, the 37-year-old motorcyclist was rushed to Tuen Mun Hospital in unconscious state where he was certified dead at 6.38pm. The 23-year-old motorcyclist was sent to Tuen Mun Hospital in unconscious state, while the 50-year-old motorcyclist was sent to Pok Oi Hospital in conscious state.
Investigation by the Accident Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North Region is underway.
