The Chief Secretary for Administration, Mrs Carrie Lam, hosted a lunch for a delegation from the United Kingdom Parliament's All Party Parliamentary China Group today (January 25). The British Consul General to Hong Kong and Macao, Ms Caroline Wilson, also joined the lunch.

Mrs Lam updated the delegation on Hong Kong's latest developments and the implementation of "one country, two systems", and discussed with them the economic and trade as well as cultural ties between Hong Kong and the United Kingdom.

The delegation, comprising Members of Parliament Mr Graham Brady, Ms Michelle Donelan, Mr Karl McCartney, Mr Andrew Stephenson, Mr Henry Smith, Dr Roberta Blackman-Woods, Mr Jonathan Reynolds, Ms Joan Ryan and Mr Jeff Smith, is the largest since the first such visit was held more than 12 years ago.
