The Lands Department today (February 12) announced that the tenders for two residential sites have been awarded on 50-year land grants at a total premium of $885,878,888.
Tuen Mun Town Lot No. 508 at the junction of Tsun Wen Road and Leung Tak Street, Area 2, Tuen Mun, New Territories, was awarded to Enormous Asset Limited (parent company: Easeon Assets Management Limited) at $455,878,888. Tuen Mun Town Lot No. 509 at Leung Tak Street, Area 2, Tuen Mun, New Territories, was awarded to Top State Development Limited (parent company: Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited) at $430 million.
"Authority from the Central Tender Board was given to the Lands Department to award the two sites to the highest tenderers," a Lands Department spokesman said.
The tenderers, other than the successful tenderer, in respect of each lot in alphabetical order with the name of the parent company where provided by the tenderer in brackets were:

Tuen Mun Town Lot No. 508 has a site area of about 3,109 square metres and is designated for non-industrial (excluding godown, hotel and petrol filling station) purposes. The minimum gross floor area is 11,193 sq m. The maximum gross floor area for non-industrial (excluding godown, hotel, petrol filling station and private residential) purposes is 3,109 sq m and the maximum gross floor area for private residential purposes is computed according to the relevant special condition in the Conditions of Sale. The total number of residential units to be built shall not be less than 370.
Tuen Mun Town Lot No. 509 has a site area of about 2,440 sq m and is designated for non-industrial (excluding godown, hotel and petrol filling station) purposes. The minimum gross floor area is 8,784 sq m. The maximum gross floor area for non-industrial (excluding godown, hotel, petrol filling station and private residential) purposes is 2,440 sq m and the maximum gross floor area for private residential purposes is computed according to the relevant special condition in the Conditions of Sale. The total number of residential units to be built shall not be less than 290.
