The Committee has undergone a thorough and detailed scrutiny process taking into account a basket of factors including the quality of the school proposals, track record of operation, physical conditions of the existing premises of applicant schools, etc. Apart from these factors, the location of the applicant schools (i.e. whether they are currently operating in the same district as the location of the new/vacant school premises available for allocation) has also been taken into account," the spokesman said.
