EMSD reminds public on potential risk of overturning for two models of Panasonic LCD TVs (with photos)
******************************************************************************************
The Electrical and Mechanical Services Department today (September 13) reminded the public that there is a potential risk of overturning for two models of Panasonic LCD televisions. The supplier, Shun Hing Electronic Trading Co Ltd, advised that the televisions of the models concerned may overturn when the swivel stands have been repeatedly used, possibly causing wear and tear of the components.

The two models of LCD televisions are:

1) TH-L42ET5H
2) TH-L47ET5H

The above televisions were sold in Hong Kong in 2012 and 2013. Shun Hing will offer free inspection and structural reinforcement services for the affected customers, and will post a notice announcing relevant services at its website (www.panasonic.hk) today.

For enquiries, please contact Shun Hing's customer service hotline at 2733 3087 from 11am to 9pm from Mondays to Sundays.
