Y-Space to perform experiential dance theatre show "Room X"

The production is a combination of dance, theatre, video projection and more. Featuring interaction with the audience, it explores the life and psyche of Hong Kong people. The participation of the audience, on the other hand, will become part of the performance.
Victor Ma is the conceiver and choreographer of the production, while Mandy Yim is the producer and Ho Ying-fung and Ainsley Sin are the set designers. The performers in the show will include dancers Mao Wei, Tracy Wong, Janet Wu and Mandy Yim.
Y-Space was founded by dance artists Victor Ma and Mandy Yim in 1995 with the mission of exploring the infinite possibilities of performing arts through dance and searching for new dance languages and artistic direction. Y-Space has been dedicated in developing both its roots in local culture and international vision since its establishment. Its works have been presented in major platforms and fringe spaces in Hong Kong and internationally. Y-Space has cultivated spaces for creativity in the local community and schools. International invitations and tours have taken Y-Space to more than 20 cities in 13 countries.
"Room X" is presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. It will be staged at 8pm on April 7 (Friday), at 3pm and 8pm on April 8 (Saturday) and at 2pm and 5pm on April 9 (Sunday) at the Studio Theatre of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre.
