     Following is the transcript of remarks made by the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr Gregory So, at a media session on Hong Kong Television Network Limited (HKTVN) today (April 6):

Reporter: (On HKTVN.)

Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development: I have said it before that we welcomed the court decision. We will study the judgment carefully. We hope that we have more programmes to introduce, to give quality programmes to Hong Kong people.

Reporter: What do you think about the future development of free-to-air TV in Hong Kong? Right now there seems to be a monopoly with TVB. Do you think this will change in the future? Do you think more competition will be able to ...?

Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development: I think today we are very happy to have attended this launch ceremony. I think those who attend today will see that they will give more choices to the people of Hong Kong. I hope that all the licensees will be creative and deliver quality programmes for the viewers in Hong Kong. Thank you.
