The annual spectacular Hong Kong Flower Show at Victoria Park will close at 9pm tomorrow (March 20). Members of the public who wish to see the tens of thousands of beautiful flowers at the event should not miss the last chance to visit.

This year's flower show is one of the events in the second batch of 10 highlight events under the "Appreciate Hong Kong" Campaign. Featuring "Blossoms in Vivid Art 2016" as the main theme, it has attracted over 200 organisations from 17 countries to take part. More than 350 000 flowering plants are on display, among which are 60 000 pots of the theme flower Antirrhinum majus, commonly known as snapdragon.

A series of fringe activities have been arranged to complement the flower show including music and cultural performances, floral art demonstrations, green activities workshops and fun games. Among them was the Jockey Club Student Drawing Competition that was held last week and had its prize presentation ceremony take place today (March 19).

The competition was conducted in four categories. Winning entries by the champion, the first and second runners-up and those highly commended in each category are now on display at the showground. The champion winners of each category are as follows:
