Cloud operating system (OS) solution company Picowork Limited announced today (March 1) that it is expanding its Hong Kong office as the company's regional base, capitalising on the city's strategic location to increase its market share and presence in the Asia-Pacific region.
The company develops a cloud OS and proprietary technology called Picowork. Picowork easily allows users to interact and collaborate in a secure and personalised cloud OS environment. Users can freely communicate and share content across any device or browser in a highly encrypted and patented "secured container". Besides, Picowork also provides marketing management and big data functions. Following the successful launch of the system in October last year, the company swiftly garnered over 50 enterprise clients across the Asian region. It has recently decided to upgrade its Hong Kong office to oversee the company's regional operations.
The company's CEO, Mr Frank Cheung, said, "Being at the heart of the region, Hong Kong is one of the most strategic business locations in our consideration. That's why we are expanding our Hong Kong office operations to take on the supervisory role in the region."
