The "Fun Race in the Park cum Carnival" will be held on Sunday (February 21) at Cheung Sha Wan Playground. Members of the public are invited to join. Admission is free.
Both the fun race and the carnival aim to instil among participants a positive attitude so as to help them embrace life's challenges. The fun race, which features a race course about 280 metres long with inflatable obstacles and adventure tasks, will take place between 9am and 3.30pm. Over 500 participants will take part and compete for various awards and trophies. Members of the public are welcome to cheer for the participants. The race course will be open for the enjoyment of the public after the completion of the fun race.
Featuring a series of wonderful programmes, the carnival will run from noon to 5.30pm. The children can enjoy inflatable slides, dinosaur bouncy games, zorb balls and bouncy wrestling in the Kids Wonderland. There will also be music performances, a band show, instant photo booths, a 3D visual arts area, a clown show, booths with Henna hand painting and tattoo stickers to create a carnival atmosphere so parents and children alike can enjoy the festive occasion.
Carnival participants will also get the chance to win a free gift whilst stocks last.
