The Government announced today (December 24) that the Chief Executive has made appointments/re-appointments to the Standing Commission on Civil Service Salaries and Conditions of Service (SCCS), the Standing Committee on Disciplined Services Salaries and Conditions of Service (SCDS), and the Standing Committee on Directorate Salaries and Conditions of Service (SDCS).
For the SCCS, the Chief Executive has re-appointed Mr Ignatius Chan Tze-ching, Mr Lee Luen-fai, Professor Suen Wing-chuen, Mr Tony Tse Wai-chuen and Mr Wilfred Wong Kam-pui as members for a term of two years from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2017.
For the SCDS, the Chief Executive has re-appointed Dr Chui Hong-sheung as a member and Chairman of its General Disciplined Services Sub-committee for two years from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2017; appointed incumbent member Professor Raymond So Wai-man as Chairman of its Independent Commission Against Corruption Sub-Committee from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016; and appointed Ms Dilys Chau Suet-fung as a member for two years from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2017.
For the SDCS, the Chief Executive has re-appointed Mr Peter Sit Kien-ping as a member for a term of two years from April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2018.
Meanwhile, the Government expresses its gratitude to two outgoing members of the SCDS, Mr Horace Cheung Kwok-kwan and Mr Billy Lam Chung-lun, for their past contribution.
The SCCS advises the Government on principles and practices governing the pay and conditions of service of non-directorate civilian civil servants. It is chaired by Dr Wilfred Wong Ying-wai. Other serving members are Miss Elaine Chan Wing-yi, Mr Dick Lee Ming-kwai, Ms Angela Lee Wai-yin, Mr Joseph Lo Kin-ching and Dr Carrie Willis Yau Sheung-mui.
The SCDS advises the Government on matters relating to salaries and conditions of service of the disciplined services. It is chaired by Ms Teresa Ko Yuk-yin. Other serving members are Ms Margaret Cheng, Mr Kent Ho Ching-tak, Mr Francis Ho Suen-wai, Mr Victor Lam Hoi-cheung, Dr Christine Wong Siu-ping, Miss Melissa Wu and Mr Thomas Jefferson Wu.
Finally, the SDCS advises the Government on matters relating to structure, pay and conditions of service of the directorate ranks in the civil service. It is chaired by Mr Pang Yiu-kai. Other serving members are Dr Eliza Chan Ching-har, Mr Clement Chen Cheng-jen, Mr Ivan Sze Wing-hang and Mrs Betty Yuen So Siu-mai.
