Following is the transcript of remarks made by the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr Gregory So, at a media session after attending the "Keep Clean 2015@Hong Kong: Our Home" - Market Cleansing Activity in Kowloon City today (September 19):
Reporter: On negative economic growth.
Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development: We are not in a situation of negative growth. This year we are still forecasting about two to three per cent growth in Hong Kong. But in terms of employment situation, individual sector will be affected quite differently. The tourism and retail sectors, for example, due to decline of number of tourists and the per capita spending decline, would have an impact. That we will work with individual sector to see what we could do together, in order to minimise impacts brought about by the greater global economic climate, so that we would continue to work with different sectors.
