The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) announced today (August 28) that the following leisure and sports facilities will be temporarily closed:
(a) The secondary ground at Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground in Sai Kung District will be temporarily closed from September 1 to December 31 for refurbishment works on the athletics track. During the closure period, the public may use the main ground at Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground, the jogging track at the nearby Hong Kong Velodrome Park, or Sai Kung Tang Shiu Kin Sports Ground in the same district.
(b) The arena, activity room and squash courts of Shui Wo Street Sports Centre in Kwun Tong District will be temporarily closed from September 14 to November 16 for renovation. During the closure period, the public may use similar facilities at the nearby Hiu Kong Street Sports Centre.
(c) The squash courts at Lung Sum Avenue Sports Centre in North District will be temporarily closed from October 2 to November 16 for improvement works. During the closure period, the public may use similar facilities at the nearby Wo Hing Sports Centre.
For the most up-to-date closure schedules of the above leisure and sports facilities, the public may refer to the notices at the venues or contact venue staff direct.
