Tenders invited for automatic vending machines, advertising area licences and government canteen tenancies

     The Government Property Agency is inviting tenders for a licence for two automatic vending machines at the inbound and outbound sections of the Passenger Terminal Building in Lok Ma Chau Control Point, Lok Ma Chau, and a licence for the advertising area at the ex-Wan Chai Public Cargo Working Area, Hung Hing Road, Causeway Bay. Tenders are also open for a tenancy of three premises in the Police Tactical Unit Headquarters, 1 Wu Tip Shan Road, Fanling, comprising (i) the government canteen on the ground and first floors of the Junior Police Officers' Mess; (ii) the government canteen on the ground floor of the Officers' Mess; and (iii) the refreshment kiosk on the ground level.

     The properties in Lok Ma Chau should be used for the installation and operation of automatic vending machines for the sale of non-alcoholic drinks only while the property in Causeway Bay should be used for the purposes of installation, operation, management, maintenance and control of the Advertising Display System for display of advertisements only. The properties in Fanling should be used for the purposes of canteen and refreshment kiosk only.

     The tender notices were gazetted today (August 21). Tender documents are available for collection at the Government Property Agency, 31/F, Revenue Tower, 5 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, during office hours (8.30am to 5.45pm from Mondays to Fridays). The documents can also be downloaded from the Agency's website: www.gpa.gov.hk .

     Interested tenderers who wish to inspect the sites should make prior appointment with the Government Property Agency by calling 2594 7697 on or before August 28 this year for the properties in Lok Ma Chau, on or before September 4 this year for the property in Causeway Bay, and on or before August 27 this year for the properties in Fanling.

     Tenderers must submit their tenders by placing them in the Government Logistics Department Tender Box at the ground floor, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point, before noon on September 15 this year for the properties in Lok Ma Chau, before noon on September 18 this year for the property in Causeway Bay, and before noon on September 16 this year for the properties in Fanling. Late tenders will not be accepted.
