LCSD to launch upgraded Leisure Link Self-service Kiosks (with photos)
*********************************************************

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) will launch new Leisure Link Self-service Kiosks (LLSSKs) at its 47 venues from July 20 to 22. The new kiosks will provide not only an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) Smart Identity Card Reader and a virtual keyboard touch screen to facilitate easy use by members of the public, but also a comprehensive system upgrade with enhanced capacity and more functions for booking facilities. With such enhancements, the new kiosks will offer more convenience to the public in booking LCSD facilities and enquiring about or enrolling in programmes organised by the department.

In addition to the existing Leisure Link booking services, the LLSSKs will be equipped with a number of enhanced functions after the comprehensive system upgrade to provide better booking services. These include registration of Leisure Link Patron by smart identity card with immediate approval, cancellation of bookings, checking of no-show records and cancellation of telephone reservations.

The existing LLSSKs will be temporarily suspended in three batches from July 20 to 22 for the revamp. Details are set out in the Annex.

The 47 self-service kiosks are located across the territory. Details of locations and contact numbers can be found at www.lcsd.gov.hk/ssk. The kiosks are operated from 7am to 11pm daily. For enquiries, please call 2314 7702.
