Extra shows for two International Arts Carnival programmes (with photos)

     Additional performances of two local stage programmes at the International Arts Carnival (IAC) have been scheduled in response to overwhelming public demand. The programmes are the musical "Ninja Academy" and the magic theatre production "My Moon Story". Details of the extra shows are as follows:

1. "Ninja Academy" (in Cantonese)
   Date and time: July 23 (Thursday), 7.30pm
   Venue: Sheung Wan Civic Centre Theatre
   Prices: $200, $160, $120

2. "My Moon Story" (in Cantonese)
   Dates and times: August 1 (Saturday), 3pm
                    August 2 (Sunday), 7.30pm
   Venue: Kwai Tsing Theatre Auditorium
   Prices: $200, $160, $120

   Date and time: August 8 (Saturday), 3pm
   Venue: Yuen Long Theatre Auditorium
   Prices: $180, $140, $100
 
     Produced by the Radiant Theatre, "Ninja Academy" combines music, dance, action and magic in an exhilarating family drama. When a powerful baddie infiltrates an academy and causes havoc, can the newly enrolled Kojiro and his kindergarten classmates rescue their school?

     "My Moon Story" is a new creation by Harry Wong combining magic, puppetry, song and dance. Each show tells a different story and offers a joyful adventure for kids and kidults.

     Tickets for these additional performances will be available at URBTIX from tomorrow (May 29) onwards. Half-price tickets are available for full-time students, senior citizens, people with disabilities and their minders, and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance recipients. Booking discounts of up to 20 per cent are available for IAC full-price performing arts/film programmes.
 
     The IAC, organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, will run from July 10 to August 16 and feature a variety of events for family entertainment.
