To tie in with the current exhibition "Hong Kong.psd Historical Photos" at the Hong Kong Museum of History, a second lecture entitled "Into Historical Photos" will be held at the Museum on Saturday (May 9). The Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Collectors Society, Mr Alan Cheung, will share his experience in collecting historical photos of Hong Kong. The Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong University Master of Arts in Chinese Historical Studies Alumni Association, Mr Ma Koon-yiu, will also give a brief introduction to the historical photos in the exhibition.

The lecture (in Cantonese) will be held from 10.30am to 12.30pm at the Lecture Hall of the Museum of History. Admission is free. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. People who attend the lecture will receive a souvenir.

The "Hong Kong.psd Historical Photos" exhibition is being held at the Hong Kong Museum of History until June 1. The exhibition is co-organised by the Hong Kong Museum of History, the Hong Kong University Master of Arts in Chinese Historical Studies Alumni Association and the Design and Cultural Studies Workshop, with support from the Moonchu Foundation. Featuring 10 historical photos of Hong Kong taken in the 19th and 20th centuries, the exhibition aims to showcase aspects of Hong Kong's social outlook and lifestyles in the past. Members of the public are invited to select their favourite photo from those being exhibited.

During the exhibition period, members of the public can view the photos free of charge at the Upper Piazza of the Museum of History and vote for their favourite photo in person at the 1/F main lobby of the Museum of History or online via www.hkpsd.org. The voting result will be announced in July.
