The first polling day of 2015 Village Representative Election ended at 7pm today (January 4).
A total of 269 candidates from 106 villages contested for 133 seats, including 91 Indigenous Inhabitant Representatives and 42 Resident Representatives.
A total of 16,168 out of the 25,132 registered voters cast their votes, representing an overall turnout of 64.33 per cent.
