Extra performance of "Winter in Sweetyland" by Make Friends With Puppet
************************************************************

An additional performance of the children's puppet musical "Winter in Sweetyland" has been scheduled in response to overwhelming public demand.

The additional performance of "Winter in Sweetyland", which is presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) and produced by Make Friends With Puppet (MFWP), will be held at 5.30pm on December 21 (Sunday) at the Theatre of Ngau Chi Wan Civic Centre. The show will be conducted in Cantonese.

The story begins as winter is late arriving. The temperature keeps rising, causing a growing sense of fear in the world of candy. So Cotton Candy decides to leave Sweetyland to find winter. Cotton Candy encounters many hardships on the way, but also discovers that the world can be bitter as well as sweet. In order to save Sweetyland and bring the real taste of sweetness to people, Cotton Candy decides to make a great sacrifice. Finally it snows. The weather is cold, but people's hearts are warmed by snowflakes that taste like cotton candy.

Tickets for the additional performance priced at $130 and $180 are now available at URBTIX. Half-price tickets are available for senior citizens aged 60 or above, people with disabilities and their minders, full-time students and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) recipients (limited tickets for CSSA recipients are available on a first-come, first-served basis).
