The outdoor "Concert in the Park Goes to HKCC Piazza" will be held on Sunday (December 7) from 1.30pm to 7pm at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza. The concert will feature performances by eight music groups and admission is free.
Popular Filipino DJs Michael Vincent Banares, Jun Paragas and Jay Martinez will serve as programme hosts of the concert. The concert will begin with the Best Music with Charliah Best group, which will perform instrumental music. The concert's other popular local bands, mostly comprising Filipino musicians, are AG's Platinum Band, Brown Sugar, Chris Polanco & Azucar Latina Ensemble, Proteus, Rapido Bandidos, Retro Groovers and Slam, and they will play different types of music such as pop, rock, jazz and more.
Jointly presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) and the Consulate General of the Philippines, and in co-operation with the Hong Kong Musicians Union, "Concert in the Park Goes to HKCC Piazza" aims to promote cultural exchange between the Filipino community and local citizens.
