Proposed works of Route 6 - Trunk Road T2 gazetted

     The Government gazetted today (September 5) the proposed construction of Trunk Road T2, which is part of Route 6 connecting the south apron of the former Kai Tak Airport and Cha Kwo Ling.

     The construction of Trunk Road T2 aims at relieving the traffic congestion for the major road networks across Central Kowloon and the district road networks in East Kowloon. It will also help cope with the traffic demand due to the Energizing Kowloon East initiative, the Kai Tak Development and the continual development of Tseung Kwan O.

     The proposed works are set out in the Annex. The plan and the scheme of the works are available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:
