Murder in Tsuen Wan (with photos)

     Police are investigating a murder case in Tsuen Wan today (August 18) in which a 42-year-old woman was killed.

     About 6.59am, Police received a report that a fighting case happened at a unit on 89 Chuen Lung Street.

     Police officers sped to the scene and found a 42-year-old Nepalese woman lying unconsciously in the kitchen. Sustaining multiple chop wounds on her body, the woman was certified dead at scene. Police later located a 42-year-old Nepalese female friend of the deceased at the same building, who sustained chop wounds on her head. She was rushed to Yan Chai Hospital in conscious state and was later transferred to Prince Margaret Hospital for medical treatment.

     Initial investigations revealed that the 21-year-old Nepalese stepson of the deceased attacked the two women with choppers and knives in the unit and fled away. Two choppers and a fruit knife were seized at scene.

     Police are looking for the man suspected to be in connection with the case. He is 1.8 to 1.85 metres tall, strong built with short black hair. He was wearing a red and black checked shirt and black trousers.
 
     Post-mortem examinations will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of death.

     Active investigations by the District Crime Squad of Tsuen Wan are under way.
