The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Guangdong (GDETO) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region today (August 15) launched the "Directory of Hong Kong Service Enterprises in Guangdong". The Directory, which has been produced to enhance co-operation in service industries between Hong Kong and Guangdong as well as promote the services provided by Hong Kong enterprises and professionals in Guangdong, was jointly published by the GDETO, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce in China - Guangdong (HKCCC-GD).
Publication of the Directory aims at assisting Hong Kong service enterprises to reach out to Mainland enterprises and people to further explore co-operation opportunities.
The GDETO held a press conference to launch the Directory in Guangzhou today. The Director of the GDETO, Mr Albert Tang; the Chairman of the HKCCC-GD, Mr Place Lam; and Marketing Manager of the HKTDC Mr Wayne Chung took part in the launch ceremony together.
The Directory publicises information on about 450 Hong Kong service enterprises in Guangzhou and Shenzhen, including their names, company profiles, services provided and contact information (address, telephone, fax, website, email, Weibo, WeChat and more).
The information on the service enterprises is categorised under financial services, professional services, real estate services, enterprise services, living services and general services. The Directory covers various service industries meeting the needs of both enterprises and individuals.
Interested parties are welcome to download the Directory for reference. Copies of the Directory will also be available free of charge at activities organised by the GDETO, the HKTDC and the HKCCC-GD, and has been uploaded to the website of the GDETO (www.gdeto.gov.hk/sc/directory/index.html).
Enterprises interested in providing information for inclusion in the Directory in the coming editions can download the Information Provision Form and return the completed form to the GDETO using the methods stated in the form.
