Seminar for SMEs on "Excellent Service Starts with Appreciation"

     The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department will hold a seminar entitled "Excellent Service Starts with Appreciation" on July 31 (Thursday). A "service appreciation" culture encourages customers to show appreciation to front-line service providers whenever they receive good service. The seminar will introduce the concept of "service appreciation" and the ways to establish a "service appreciation" culture within an organisation, and explore how SMEs can benefit from practising "service appreciation".

     The speakers will include the Senior Vice President of IBG Operations of DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Ltd, Ms Brenda Leung; the Director of Service Management of AIA International Ltd, Ms Eunice Mui; the Chief Producer of Best Video Ltd, Mr Kwong Hoi-cheung; and the Managing Director and Founder of Newborn Nanny Service Centre, Ms Michelle Wong. The Honorary Advisor of the Hong Kong Association for Customer Service Excellence, Mr Buston Chu, will act as moderator.

     The seminar will be held at 2.30pm in the Lecture Theatre, G/F, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay (MTR Tin Hau Station, exit B). The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese. Admission is free.
