Following is the transcript of remarks by the Secretary for Transport and Housing, Professor Anthony Cheung Bing-leung, at a media session today (May 19) after the meeting of the Transport Panel's Subcommittee on Matters Relating to Railways at the Legislative Council:
Reporter: Professor Cheung, will you resign after the inquiry? Do you feel bad that you are the only one to make this commitment but not anyone from the MTR?
Secretary for Transport and Housing: I am making a very honest and general commitment because I believe that if I were found to have any responsibility, of course I will take that very seriously. That's a very honest expression of my feeling.
