Progress on banking complaints handled by HKMA

The following is issued on behalf of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority:

     The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) announced today (April 11) the progress on banking complaints handled by it as at end-March 2014. Banking complaints include cases concerning general banking services and conduct issues.

     In March 2014, 124 cases were received and 131 cases were completed. As at end-March, the handling of 466 cases was in progress.

     A table summarising the progress on banking complaints handled by the HKMA is attached.
