Central District General Out-patient Clinic resumes service after renovation

The following is issued on behalf of the Hospital Authority:

     The spokesperson for Hong Kong West Cluster today (March 10) announced that the Central District Health Centre General Out-patient Clinic in 1, Kau U Fong, Central, Hong Kong will resume service on March 13 (Thursday) upon completion of renovation works.

     According to the spokesperson, the renovation works have included the redesign of the clinic layout and the provision of barrier-free facilities. Following renovation, the environment of the clinic's waiting area is improved. More importantly, the patient flow will be further streamlined.

     The service hours of the clinic remain unchanged (9am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm from Mondays to Fridays and 9am to 1pm on Saturdays). Patients with chronic illnesses or requiring wound care have already been informed and arrangements made to attend follow-up appointment at Central District Health Centre General Out-patient Clinic as shown on the appointment slip. Patients with episodic illnesses are advised to make appointments through the Telephone Appointment System (Tel: 3543 5033).
