******************************************

"Art & Culture@Hong Kong", a publication which showcases the multifaceted characteristics of Hong Kong by featuring the city's vibrant arts scene, culture, heritage and lifestyle, is now available online in an enhanced format.

Illustrated with colourful photographs, the publication aims to encourage readers, particularly visitors to Hong Kong, to explore beyond the usual hot spots for tourists, shoppers and gourmets.

It presents a wide range of artistic, cultural and lifestyle topics, including film, music, performing and visual arts, design, architecture, local heritage, greenery, conservation and revitalisation as well as Hong Kong's unique blend of East and West. The publication also tells the stories of a Taiwan writer in Hong Kong and a Hong Kong designer in Taiwan, sharing with readers their enjoyable experiences in adapting to the different cultures and lifestyles of the two places.

The electronic version of the publication is enhanced with videos and hyperlinks. The four videos feature a popular Cantopop song sung by Hong Kong singers Jacky Cheung and Eason Chan; the transformation of a heritage building into a base for animation artists; a Museum of Food Culture; and the Cheung Chao Jiao Festival, or Bun Festival, which is a unique traditional festival on Cheung Chau Island. The hyperlinks give readers more information about the places and organisations featured in the publication.

The printed edition of "Art & Culture@Hong Kong" was produced in November 2013 to tie in with Hong Kong Week in Taipei, a programme of arts and cultural events organised by the Hong Kong Economic, Trade and Cultural Office in Taiwan.
