Following is the transcript of remarks made by the Secretary for Food and Health, Dr Ko Wing-man, after attending a special meeting of the Legislative Council Panel on Food Safety and Environmental Hygiene today (January 29):

Secretary for Food and Health: Regarding the long term decision on how to arrange live chicken supply to the local market or whether we should maintain such an arrangement is a long term question that we would look into. It is not an urgent matter that we would need to decide today.
