A new layout of the Police Public Page (PPP) content page was launched today (January 2) to make key messages stand out easily.
"As part of our commitment to make better use of different platforms, including the PPP, to enhance communication with the public, the content page of PPP has undergone a facelift to provide a better browsing experience to users,กจ a Police spokesman said.
With the addition of auto-rolling banners and icons, the new index page design also provides a greater flexibility to accommodate more important messages.
The rolling e-banner on the top of the index page shows new items, key messages and Force major topics. They include Press Release, Clarification / Response to Media Enquiry or Report, Social Media, Notification of Public Meeting / Public Procession, Recruitment, External Surveys / Report and Civil Service Outstanding Service Award Scheme 2013.
The icons in the middle of the index page are Police Message, Crime Prevention, Recruitment, Traffic Matters, Youth Corner, HK Auxiliary Police, Licenses / Permits and e-Report Room.
"By adopting the latest web design and technology, we hope that our messages can reach out to the public more extensively,กจ the spokesman added.
