The Leisure and Cultural Services Department will hold the outdoor concert "Band Fever" at Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza C this Sunday (November 17) from 4pm to 7pm. The event will feature a selection of great bands' popular songs from the 1950s to the '80s in different styles. Admission is free.
Singers and music groups performing in the concert will include the renowned singers Joe Junior and Anders Nelsson, emerging singer Jing Wong and local jazz groups Funkadelic Starship and Tri-deuces, as well as a cappella group Urban Harmony Singers from Singapore.
The performers will charm the audience with a number of hits by great bands such as "A Hard Day's Night" and "Let It Be" by the Beatles, "Bridge Over Troubled Water" by Simon and Garfunkel, "Deborah" by the Crickets, "Happy Together" by the Turtles, "How Deep is Your Love" by Bee Gees, "I Was Born to Love You" by Queen, "Touch Me When We're Dancing" by the Carpenters and "Y.M.C.A." by Village People.
