Online reservation of tickets and viewing sessions for Bruce Lee exhibition to end tomorrow

     The service for online reservation of tickets and viewing sessions specially arranged for the exhibition "Bruce Lee: Kung FuĦEArtĦELife" will finish tomorrow (September 20). From September 21 onwards, visitors can visit the exhibition at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum at any time during the opening hours of the museum without prior reservation.

     Presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, this exhibition is jointly organised by the Bruce Lee Foundation and the Hong Kong Heritage Museum and sponsored by Fortune Star Media Limited, and is one of the highlight programmes of the "Vibrant Hong Kong" theme under the territory-wide "Hong Kong: Our Home" Campaign launched this year. The exhibition is currently being staged at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum and will run for five years.

     To tie in with the exhibition, a 75-minute-long documentary entitled "The Brilliant Life of Bruce Lee" is being shown at the theatre of the Hong Kong Heritage Museum. The documentary will be screened at 10.30am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm and 4.30pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and at 10.30am, 12.15pm, 2pm, 3.45pm and 5.30pm on Sundays and public holidays. Holders of the museum's admission tickets will be given free entry. The documentary will not be screened on Saturdays, when the theatre of the museum is reserved for Cantonese opera performances.

     The Hong Kong Heritage Museum is open from 10am to 6pm on weekdays, and from 10am to 7pm on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. On Christmas Eve and Chinese New Year's Eve, the museum will open at 10am and close at 5pm. It is closed on Tuesdays (except public holidays) and the first two days of the Chinese New Year. The standard admission ticket is $10 with a half-price concession available for full-time students, people with disabilities and senior citizens aged 60 or above. Group tickets at $7 each are available to groups of 20 persons or more. Admission is free on Wednesdays.

     The Hong Kong Heritage Museum is located at 1 Man Lam Road, Sha Tin. Paid car parking is available at the museum. Those who prefer to use public transport may take the MTR Ma On Shan Line and get off at Che Kung Temple Station, which is within three minutes' walk of the museum.
