The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, and the Chairman of the Independent Review Committee on ICAC's Regulatory Systems and Procedures for handling Official Entertainment, Gifts and Duty Visits, Mr Chow Chung-kong, met the media at the ground floor lobby of the Office of the Chief Executive at Tamar today (September 12). Following is the transcript of remarks by the Chief Executive:

Reporter: Mr Leung, could you please recapitulate and also tell us whether Mr Tong will be facing any criminal investigation?

Chief Executive: Because the investigation of the relevant complaint against the former ICAC Commissioner has been going on, therefore it is not appropriate for me to make particular comment.
