Peter Li began his stage management career in 1978 as a stage lighting technician. During the 80s and 90s he was a lighting designer for various performing arts companies in Hong Kong, with productions ranging from drama and dance to opera. In 1992 he won the Best Lighting Design award at the first Hong Kong Drama Awards, presented by the Hong Kong Federation of Drama Societies. He joined the Hong Kong Cultural Centre in 1989 and has remained on the stage management team for 23 years. During his career he has worked on musicals, classical operas and drama productions by leading international and local performing arts groups. He has also worked on many technically challenging productions that required exceptionally high standards.

With years of experience in stage management, Li makes each show a success by meeting the highest possible standards, whether in technical or artistic terms, as well as in addressing the needs and expectations of theatre professionals.
