The Friends of Social Enterprise Award Scheme 2013 is open for nominations from today (August 26) until September 18. Local social enterprises (SEs) are welcome to nominate individuals or organisations to take part in the Scheme.
The Scheme is organised by the Home Affairs Department to give recognition to individuals and organisations who/which have demonstrated support to SEs. It also helps enhance public awareness of SEs and encourage cross-sectoral support for SEs.
An individual or organisation has to be nominated by a local SE and must have provided actual support to the SE, such as financial assistance, consultancy services or collaboration, etc.
After assessment, successful nominees will be presented with the Friends of SE 2013 logos which can be used in any promotional activities and materials. Those with outstanding performance will be further considered for Outstanding Mentor of SE 2013 or Outstanding Partner of SE 2013.
The results announcement and the award presentation ceremony will be made and held respectively in November. Details of the Scheme and nomination forms are available on the dedicated website (www.se-friends.hk).
