************************************************************

Internationally acclaimed street dance crew Last For One from Korea will stage "B-Boying Gala Show-One Dream" this August at the Tsuen Wan Town Hall Auditorium. In addition to amazing K-style moves, there will be a crossover performance with a local zheng ensemble, making it an unmissable event for hip hop fans.

Champions of the 2005 Battle of the Year international b-boying competition, Last For One are one of the most respected street dance ensembles in the world. With their trademark inventiveness, superb technique and boundless vitality, the group will deliver a series of innovative breakdance routines that blend Korean artistry with overseas cultural traditions, taking street dance to exhilarating new heights of collaborative creativity.

Another highlight of the Gala will be the jamming between the hip hop dancers and a guest local zheng ensemble, the Choi Ngar-si Zheng Ensemble. Supercool breakdancing and energising beatboxing will be accompanied by classical music and the elegant sounds of the zheng in this edgy hip-hop cross-cultural show.

Last For One are based in Seoul, Korea. In 2005 they won the Battle of the Year, one of the most prestigious and the largest international hip-hop dance events, in Braunschweig, Germany. Later, they toured extensively with the B-Boying Gala Show - "One Dream" and "Soul Beat" - to over 30 countries across the America, Europe, Africa and Asia. They also performed at various important events and for international VIPs, such as a celebratory performance at the inauguration of the President of Korea, as well as a welcome event for the Secretary of State of the United States. In 2011, the group put on a hologram show, which combines cutting edge hologram technology and live performance, at the world's first 4D Art Park.

"B-Boying Gala Show-One Dream" will be staged at Tsuen Wan Town Hall Auditorium at 7.30pm on August 3 (Saturday) and at 3pm on August 4 (Sunday), with tickets priced at $220, $160 and $120.

Half-price tickets are available for full-time students, senior citizens aged 60 or above, people with disabilities and their minders, and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance recipients. Booking discounts of up to 20 per cent are available for full-price performing arts and film programmes.

Last One For will also be playing in a demonstration performance titled "One Dream-Street Dance Party" at 6pm on August 2 (Friday) at Sheung Tak Plaza in Tseung Kwan O. Admission to the demonstration performance is free.

Both "B-Boying Gala Show-One Dream" and "One Dream-Street Dance Party" are part of the large-scale summer festival International Arts Carnival (IAC) organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.
