Organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), the festival will carry the theme of "Lasting Legacies of Eastern Europe" and will be held from October 18 to November 17. Featuring the most representative art forms, artists and arts groups of the Eastern European countries of Russia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Serbia and Ukraine, the festival's array of dance, theatre and music programmes will showcase the rich and diverse cultures and traditions of the region inherited from the past and transformed to the present, with new developments reflecting the multifaceted contemporary society.

Marilyn", directed by veteran Polish director Krystian Lupa, is a production by the Dramatic Theatre of the City of Warsaw (Poland). Both directors are European Theatre Prize winners.
