The following is issued on behalf of the Legislative Council Secretariat:
The Legislative Council (LegCo) Finance Committee (FC) will hold two meetings on Friday (July 12) in Conference Room 1 of the LegCo Complex. The first FC meeting will start at around 3.30pm while the second FC meeting will start at 5.40pm if the House Committee (HC) needs not resume its meeting at 5.30pm. If the HC needs to resume its meeting at 5.30pm, the second FC meeting will start immediately after the HC meeting has finished its business.
During the meetings, members of the FC will examine and approve the funding proposals related to the Northeast New Territories Landfill extension and West New Territories Landfill extension; 2013-14 civil service pay adjustment; and injections into the HKSAR Government Scholarship Fund and the Self-financing Post-secondary Education Fund.
