The Police will implement special traffic arrangements in the vicinity of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre Phase II in Wan Chai on June 30 (Sunday) and July 1 (Monday) to facilitate the rehearsal and holding of the Flag Raising Ceremony for the 16th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
Bus terminus, public bus parking spaces, private bus pick-up and drop-off area, and coach parking area at Expo Drive East will be suspended between 6.45am and 12.30pm on June 30.
Expo Drive, Expo Drive Central and Expo Drive East will be closed between 5.30am and 11am on July 1 except for vehicles with permit.
Coach parking spaces at Expo Drive East will be suspended between 10pm on June 30 to 11am the following day.
Bus terminus, public bus parking spaces and private bus pick-up and drop-off area at Expo Drive East will be suspended between midnight and 11am on July 1.
Taxi stand at Expo Drive will be suspended between 5.30am and 11am on July 1.
Motorists are advised to take heed of traffic signs and follow the instruction of police at scene. Vehicles found illegally parked within the precinct of the special traffic arrangements specified above might be towed away without prior notice.
