Applications invited for HK Cultural Centre live photography service stalls
************************************************************

A new round of application to operate the photography stalls at the Piazza of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre (HKCC) is now open. Live photography services are provided to tourists and the general public. Professional photographers are welcome to submit applications.

Successful applicants for the live photography service stalls will be supported to operate daily from August 15, 2013, to July 24, 2014. The service hours may run from 10.30am to 10.30pm and the core operating hours must be two consecutive hours between 7pm and 10pm. Successful applicants will be required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of $5,900.

All applicants are required to conduct photo demonstrations at the HKCC and provide photos for reference by a vetting panel of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. If the number of qualified applications exceeds the available number of stalls, selection will be made by drawing lots. Please refer to the application form for details.

Interested individuals may obtain the application form from the HKCC Enquiries Counter from today (June 5) or download it from the website (www.hkculturalcentre.gov.hk). Completed application forms should be delivered to the HKCC Enquiries Counter, 10 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, before 7pm on June 25. Enquiries can be made by phone on 2734 2009.

The HKCC launched its Arts and Crafts Fair in 2001. To further promote creativity, the HKCC will invite experienced non-profit-making community organisations from the second half of this year onwards to become partners to run markets of different kinds and themes and offer handicrafts and arts services that are even more novel and colourful. The HKCC will provide the venue and supporting services. The new scheme, entitled "Creative Market in Partnership @ HKCC", will bring together creative talents through various partners and add fresh vibrancy to the HKCC's arts and crafts events.
