CAPO Acquired ISO 10002 Quality Management Certification

     The Complaints Against Police Office (CAPO) of the Hong Kong Police Force has successfully acquired ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) 10002:2004 ¡§Quality Management ¡V Customer Satisfaction¡¨ Certification.

     At the certificate presentation ceremony today (May 20), the Assistant Commissioner of Police (Service Quality), Mr Peter Morgan said: ¡§This is a significant milestone for CAPO that fully reflects and acknowledges the hard work and commitment put in to ensure that all complaint cases are handled fairly, impartially and effectively.¡¨

     With the continuous support and encouragement of Senior Force Management and other key-stakeholders, particularly the Independent Police Complaints Council, CAPO will continue to strive for excellence in all its complaint handling and investigations, he said.

     ISO 10002 is an international standard for handling complaints in an organisation and reflects the commitment by CAPO to ensure a professional and transparent approach when handling complaints by members of the public.
