The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (May 8) that due to turf maintenance, the following leisure and sports facilities will be temporarily closed:
(a) The gateball court at Tsuen Wan Park will be temporarily closed for turf maintenance from May 9 to June 13. During the period, the public may use the gateball court at the nearby Tsuen Wan Riviera Park.
(b) The soccer pitch at Siu Lun Sports Ground in Tuen Mun will be closed for turf maintenance from May 13 to June 30. The running track will remain open. During the closure, the public may use the soccer pitch at Tuen Mun Tang Shiu Kin Sports Ground in the district.
(c) The soccer pitch at Tsuen Wan Riviera Park will be temporarily closed for turf maintenance from June 17 to July 27. During the period, the public may use the soccer pitch at the nearby Shing Mun Valley Sports Ground.
(d) The soccer pitch at Tuen Mun Tang Shiu Kin Sports Ground will be temporarily closed for turf maintenance from July 1 to August 31. The running track will remain open. During the closure, the public may use the soccer pitch at Siu Lun Sports Ground in the district.
