Following is a transcript of remarks by the Secretary for Transport and Housing, Professor Anthony Cheung Bing-leung, at a media stand-up session today (May 7):
Reporter: Are you saying that there is still no known delay as far as the completion date is concerned?
Secretary for Transport and Housing: At the moment, as far as what we have gathered from the MTRC Limited is concerned, our objectives to keep the construction work on track according to target and to keep expenses, the construction cost, within budget are still being met. Of course I notice there is a report in one of the newspapers this morning. Of course we will find out further from the company but as far as we know our objectives are still on track.
