************************************************************

Hongkong Post today (April 25) announced that a "Heartwarming Stamps" mini-pane to commemorate Hongkong Post's participation in the Australia 2013 World Stamp Expo will go on sale with associated philatelic products at 38 Philatelic Offices and the Hongkong Post Internet Shopping Mall ShopThruPost (www.shopthrupost.hk) on May 10 (Friday).

Under the auspices of the Fédération Internationale de Philatélie (FIP), the six-day Expo will be held in Melbourne, Australia, to mark the centenary of the 1913 Kangaroo and Map Stamp - Australia's first national postage stamp. Featuring the largest philatelic collection on show in Australia since 2005, the exhibition will involve philatelists, stamp collectors and postal authorities from more than 30 countries and will also showcase innovations in stamp design and production. The event offers Hongkong Post an excellent opportunity to introduce stamps from Hong Kong to stamp-lovers overseas, with the aim of promoting philately as a universally enjoyed pastime.

Official souvenir covers will be on sale at $1.20 each at 38 Philatelic Offices from tomorrow (April 26). The "Heartwarming Stamps" mini-pane and associated philatelic products will be displayed at the General Post Office, Tsim Sha Tsui Post Office, Tsuen Wan Post Office, Sha Tin Central Post Office and Tuen Mun Central Post Office from tomorrow. Advance orders for servicing self-provided covers will be accepted at all Philatelic Offices from tomorrow to May 2.

Information about this special stamp issue and associated philatelic products is available on Hongkong Post's website at www.hongkongpost.hk and the Hongkong Post mobile app.
