The Government Property Agency is inviting tenders for the purchase of a Financial Secretary Incorporated (FSI) property consisting of a portion of the 3/F and the whole of 4/F, 5/F and 6/F of Citibank Tower, No. 3 Garden Road, Hong Kong in one parcel. The tender notice was gazetted today (March 15).
The property, originally used by the Legislative Council Secretariat as its office, has a gross floor area of about 6 161 square metres. It will be sold with vacant possession to release Grade A office space in Central for commercial use. This is consistent with government policy to increase the supply of commercial space in the market for development of different economic activities.
The property will be open for inspection by interested parties on the following dates:
(i) March 21, 2013 (Thursday)
(ii) March 28, 2013 (Thursday)
(iii) April 3, 2013 (Wednesday)
Interested parties are required to make prior appointment with the Government Property Agency (Contact Tel. No. 2594 7733) at least three working days before any one of the above dates to arrange an inspection.
Tender documents are available for collection at the Government Property Agency, 31/F, Revenue Tower, 5 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai during office hours (8.30am to 5.45pm from Mondays to Fridays). They can also be downloaded from the Agency's website: www.gpa.gov.hk.
Bidders must submit their tenders by placing them in the Government Secretariat Tender Box situated on the Ground Floor, East Wing of the Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong, before noon on Friday, April 5, 2013. Late tenders will not be accepted.
