The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, issued the following statement today (November 19):
"My solicitors today (November 19) applied to the High Court for dismissal of Mr Albert Ho's pending appeals to the Court of Appeal in CACV 236 and 249 of 2012 (CA appeals). Those CA appeals were brought against the judgments of the Honourable Mr Justice Lam made in the election petition proceedings previously brought by Mr Ho.
"My solicitors have advised me not to comment on issues relating to my residence on the Peak until all legal proceedings have been cleared. Therefore, I will give a full account of such issues once the dismissal is granted by the High Court."
