Following is the transcript of remarks by the Secretary for Transport and Housing, Professor Anthony Cheung Bing-leung at a media session after attending a radio programme today (October 27):

Secretary for Transport and Housing: We think that our measures are aimed to bring the market back to a steady growth process and we think that if the market is stable, then supply will also be able to respond to the demand and needs of different sectors of the community. Of course, these measures are only demand-side measures, we are not forgetting the importance of increasing supply. Indeed, increasing supply, particularly in the long term, is the cornerstone of the Government's long term strategy. So, we are not forgetting the importance of supply and we are in fact putting greater emphasis on supply.
