Seminar for SMEs on "Innovate and Change for Embracing Challenges and Opportunities"

     The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department will hold a seminar entitled "Innovate and Change for Embracing Challenges and Opportunities" on October 24 (Wednesday). The seminar will explain the basic concepts of innovation and change, and explore the relationship between innovation and change and the sustainable development of enterprises.

     Speakers will include the President of the Hong Kong SME Development Federation Ltd and Managing Director of Delicron (HK) Ltd, Dr Edward Lam; the Executive Director of Hung Fook Tong Holdings Ltd and Administrative Head and Associate Professor, Department of Business Administration of Hong Kong Shue Yan University, Dr Ricky Szeto; the Managing Director of Fok Hing (HK) Trading Ltd, Mr Charles Lui; the Managing Director of Pokka Corp (HK) Ltd, Ms Pauline Wong; and the General Manager of Dr Health Ltd, Mr Kevin Tsui. The guest speakers will share their experiences in introducing innovation and change, including problems encountered during the process and tips for overcoming the difficulties. The experience sharing session will be moderated by Dr Lam.

     The seminar will be held at 2.30pm in the Lecture Theatre, G/F, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay (MTR Tin Hau station, exit B). The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese. Admission is free.
