Award presentation ceremony for Civic Values Video Production cum Slogan Design Competition to be held tomorrow

The following is issued on behalf of the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education:

     The award presentation ceremony of the Civic Values Video Production cum Slogan Design Competition, jointly organised by the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education (CPCE) and the Home Affairs Bureau, will be held at 6.30pm tomorrow (August 28) at LG1, Y-Theatre, Youth Square, 238 Chai Wan Road, Chai Wan, Hong Kong. Members of the public are invited to join the ceremony to view the winning entries and enjoy the guest performance.

     The competition aims to promote core values such as "respect", "responsibility" and "love" in the community.

     The Chairman of the CPCE, Dr Joseph Lee; Principal Assistant Secretary for Home Affairs, Ms Kitty Yu; and members of the CPCE will attend the ceremony. Awards will be presented to the winners and the first and second runner-ups in three divisions, namely the Primary School Division, Secondary School Division and Open Division, as well as the "My Favourite Entry" award voted for online by the public.

     Music group C AllStar, singer Joey Ou and a children's dance group from the New Home Association will perform at the ceremony.
